Hello! My name is Josh! I am the founder and owner of Yung-N-Dum. Some may also know me as "hooverwithacamera." I am also a professional photographer and videographer.
I originally started YND as a way to start pushing an idea I had. My idea was to grow a brand behind my name. I always wanted something "cool" connected to me.
Back in mid 2022, I was a sophomore in highschool and like I said, I wanted something "cool" connected to me. For awhile, I pondered different name ideas but nothing really stuck with me. Eventually (and honestly I don't know how) I came up with the name "Young And Dumb." Sounds good I thought, but it just didnt seem right. "Young and dumb" seemed too smart-sounding. I wanted something good that really sounded like a kid was learning how to spell. I wanted to really bring emotion to the name you guys know today. And, Yung-N-Dum was born. It was perfect! It was still very legible, yet very imperfect. It was the perfect mix of both worlds and I was happy with the turnout.
